Saturday & Sunday June 7 & 8, 2025 - New Course Celebration Weekend!
Putting contests on the new putting course.
Long drive competition on the new driving range. Long drive contest noon Sunday. Putting challenges all weekend.
Half-price greens fees throughout the weekend. Open to members and visitors.
Food & beverage specials. Dinner reservations at Otto’s recommended.

Saturday June 14th, 2025 - Father's Day Tournament - 10am start
Father/child team format.
Under 16 and Over 16 child divisions (9 holes under 16 child; 18 holes over 16 child).
Open to members and visitors. Prizes included.
Standard greens fees and cart fees apply.
Food & beverage specials. Dinner reservations at Otto’s recommended.

Friday June 20th, 2025 - The Broken Tee Society Summer Solstice
All members of The Golfer’s Journal are welcome to play all-day golf on the longest day of the year!
Price: $90 walking; $120 with cart. (Free golf for SCGC members; cart fees apply.)
Food and beverage separate. Otto’s will be open for lunch and dinner. Dinner reservations recommended.

Friday June 27th - Otto Hillig Day!
Commemorating Otto's flight from SCGC!
1pm four-man 18-hole scramble.
Prizes included. Members and visitors welcome.

Wednesday July 9th - One-Day Member Guest - 1pm start
Two-man better ball format. Prizes, cart fees included.
Member-only event. Members may bring one, two, or three guests.

Thursday July 10th — Lighthouse & Soba Golf Classic - 10am start
Course Closed from 10am - 4pm for tournament.
If interested in participating, sign up at Lighthouse & Soba Golf Classic.

Saturday July 26th - Senior Club Championship
18 holes stroke play. 9am start.
Member-only event. Free to play, cart fees apply.

Sunday July 27th - 2024 Member Appreciation Day
Open to all members from 2024, thanking them for their support during our 2024 construction.
Free breakfast/lunch and golf/carts for last year’s members.

Saturday & Sunday August 2 & 3 - Club Championship Weekend
27 holes Saturday; 18 holes Sunday. Morning starting times.
18 hole qualifying Saturday followed by 9 hole matches in flights. Prizes for winners.
Members Only. Cart fees apply. Free to enter. Dinner reservations at Otto’s recommended.

Saturday & Sunday August 16 & 17 - The Sullivan County Cup
Ryder Cup style weekend of competition, leading up to this year's Ryder Cup at Bethpage.
Matches between Team Local Members and Team Nonresident Members for all the glory!
Member-only event. Standard cart and greens fees apply.
Food & beverage specials. Dinner reservations at Otto’s recommended.

Thursday August 28 - SCGC 100 Year Anniversary Celebration!

Open to members only.
18-hole golf plus dinner, special guests, entertainment, and special events.
Price: $100 per golfer, cart included.

Saturday & Sunday October 18 & 19 - Pachanga Invitational Member-Guest/Member-Member
27 holes Saturday, 18 holes Sunday, plus shootout to determine champions.
Two-man teams of one member and one guest, or two members.
Standard cart and greens fees apply.

Saturday November 1 - Closing Day Tournament
2-man scramble.
